NESBA Finals -- Take Two!

Dear Whalers,

The unwelcome weather from last weekend has left us with the opportunity to make one more week of progress on our field show before New England Championships this year.  This is an unexpected opportunity for us to keep improving and developing our show into something really special.  We can make this one to remember.  Keep coming to every rehearsal and performance with your best attitude, and a desire to perform your best every time through the show.

With that in mind, here are some reminders for each event we have this week.

Rehearsal on Tuesday night, 11/4 (5:00pm-9:00pm)
This will be a normal rehearsal at the NBHS Band Room and our field behind D-Block.  Because of the change in our schedule for the weekend, we will continue to rehearse 5pm-9pm for one more week.

Rehearsal on Thursday night, 11/6 (5:00pm-9:00pm)
This will be a normal rehearsal at the NBHS Band Room and our field behind D-Block.

Rehearsal on Friday night, 11/7 (5:00pm-9:00pm)
The football game this week has once again been pushed to Saturday afternoon.  As a result, Friday night will be our final stadium dress rehearsal for this weekend. Please remember that we will meet at the Band Room as close to 4:30pm as possible and walk over to the field as soon as everyone is ready. We will end rehearsal at 8:30 and try to return to the band room as close to 9:00pm as possible for dismissal.

Football Game on 11/8
The football game for this weekend has been scheduled for Saturday at 3:00pm.  Our report time is 1:00pm at the band room and we should be dismissed around 6:30pm.  More information is available on the weekly sheet below.

NE Championships on Sunday 11/9
We have one extra week to prepare and make this an incredible performance for our band.  Let's keep pushing hard all the way to the finish line and put out the best Whaler Marching Band show that anyone has seen in a long time.  For the schedule of the day, please see the times on the weekly sheet, and remember that STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN FOOD for lunch to be eaten on the bus ride.

Let's bring all of our hard work to fruition in Sunday's performance.  Let's Go Whalers!

Your weekly sheet is attached at the bottom of this page and was emailed out Monday night. Paper copies are available in the Band Room. As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Yours in music,

Mr. Eric Drew
